Michelle's
first major endorsement was with Riedell.
She signed a multi-year contract with them in 1996. Michelle
said she was excited because it was the first time she had skates
made specifically for her. She said, "I've never really
had custom-made skates, and I always had problems with skates
and having blisters around my feet. Hopefully, this time...they
can fit my foot perfectly, which I know they will." However,
she had to stop wearing them, and also break the contract, because
the skates started to hurt her foot. Over the course of the
contract, Michelle appeared in print advertisements for Riedell,
and these ads continued to run several months after the contract
was broken. |
