an endorsement, but Michelle is featured in a McDonald's
commercial airing before and during the Olympics. The ad "features
emotionally-charged vintage smile moments from some of the
most decorated and recognized U.S. Olympians." The 60-second
"Olympic Smiles'' commercial first aired on Monday, September
4, 2000. The ad will air for the two weeks before the summer
Olympics, and will then be updated throughout the Olympics
with athletes from Sydney.
Michelle is shown
doing her "wing it" final pose from Lyra Angelica
at the 1998 Olympics. There are 3 commercials that are shown
before the games: the full ad, and two ads that show half
of the athletes. So, there are 2 separate ads featuring Michelle.
After all of the ads, the McDonald's logo with the words "We
love to see you smile" appears. There are no words spoken
during the ad, only music in the background.
